Pete the Scribbler
I would never pretend to be a poet. However, from time to time, we all have deep feelings inside of us that need to be expressed somehow. When you're at the bottom of the deepest trough or on the crest of a wave, it can come bubbling out without explanation.
Poems mean a lot to the person who wrote them; often they will make no sense at all to someone who does not know the circumstances behind them. Then, they are not usually intended for an audience.
What you cannot express yourself, you can often find mirrored in the poems of others.
